Sports plays a vital role in the life of students. Participation in sports enhances their physical and social skills thus giving them a lift of their spirits. They also offer children a change from the monotony of their daily life giving them entertainment and physical activity. Taking part in a variety of sports and games in school is also a passport to achieve their dream of becoming a well-known and successful sportsperson. Sports instils values like discipline, responsibility, self-confidence, sacrifice, team spirit and accountability. The primary need is that of excellent coaches who understand the great responsibility that is placed upon their shoulders to help shape and prepare the student athletes not only in sports, but in their everyday lives. And at RMK we have special coaches for each game and sports who have always helped students come out with flying colours in competitions not only in the locality but also in state and national level competitions. They impart special coaching to these future athletes and sportspersons all through the year preparing them for any upcoming competition. Our students have achieved laurels at various levels and has made the school proud on many occasions.
